How Mary Met the Bride: Eden and Mary were random roommates freshmen year at Purdue. When they first emailed each other about how they wanted to organize the room and Mary realized she was paired with someone as Type A and OCD as her, she knew we were gonna get along fine. Four years of sharing closets and personal space later, she’s glad she was right. Favorite Memory: Mary has too many to put here, but one of her favorite moments is whenever Eden and Mary would accidentally dress the same and not realize it until they were in public and people thought they were either weird twins or a lesbian couple. Fun Fact: Mary is an auditor, so Eden made her an accounting mug about how much she loves spreadsheets and numbers. It’s Mary's favorite mug and makes all her coworkers jealous.
Best Man
How Adam Met the Groom: Josh and Adam met in elementary school, and they played baseball together for years. Their dads even coached together one year! Favorite Memory: While Josh and Adam were kayaking, Josh got out of the kayak to help a stranded boater fix their motor. When he tried to get back into the kayak, it flipped and started taking on water. Adam had to tow the drowning kayak while Josh swam behind it! Fun Fact: Adam is an avid woodworker and has made his own workbench with a built-in table and miter saw and electricity.

How Mollie Met the Bride: Eden and Mollie met through University Choir at Purdue. They were both Soprano 2's, and became instant friends in their first semester of college. Favorite Memory: Mollie's favorite memories with Eden were staying up until 2 in the morning talking for hours. They've always been able to pick up where they left off, despite busy schedules and different majors. A lot of Mollie's favorite conversations with Eden happened whispering backstage at a concert or speed walking across campus. Fun Fact: Eden first told Mollie about Josh during one of their walks across campus, and Mollie could tell Eden was already smitten. Eden didn't know how it could work with study abroad, law school, and Josh's navy service, but here we are!
Groomsman
How Eli Met the Bride: Meeting his little sister is one of Eli's first and best memories. He confirmed she was in working order, and ran through the hospital to tell everyone about her perfect teeny-tiny toes! How Eli Met the Groom: Josh's name had been highly classified, because Eden referred to him as “The Boy.” Upon meeting Josh, the mystery was solved. Favorite Memory of Eden: The early ones, like playing Wuke and Weia with lightsabers, or watching her on stage? The recent ones, like diving together or seeing her graduate? The adult ones, like their weekly phone date, talking about everything and anything? All of them! Favorite Memory of Josh: When he surprised Eden for New Year's - so much joy. Fun Fact: Eli teaches high school in a bush village in Alaska on the Yukon River.

How Bethany Met the Bride: Bethany met Eden on their first day of University Choir, and Eden seemed to exude a calm confidence that Bethany was immediately drawn to. Eden also had the most kickass name! Eden was one of the first people Bethany talked to in choir, and she's so glad she did! Favorite Memory: There are small moments that converge into why Bethany loves being Eden's friend. Any time she goes above and beyond when planning something. Any time she calls Bethany “sugar.” How she can so easily run with the loud and crazy crowd, then turn around and have a super serious, quiet conversation. How she can be involved in a million organizations, but still have her stuff together. All these things are so uniquely Eden. Fun Fact: Bethany is climbing Mt. Rainer this September!
Groomsman
How Matthew Met the Groom: Well, to say Matt was born into Josh’s life is no understatement. Just over a week after Matt was born, Josh sat on the couch holding Matt in his arms. Favorite Memory: Playing tackle football in the living room of their grandparents house. Fun Fact: Matt was interviewed and videotaped for his first day of kindergarten by the local news.
Bridesmaid
How Alyssa Met the Bride: University Choir Freshman year. Eden introduced herself “Eden like the garden, Holmes as in Sherlock” and Alyssa already knew she wanted to be her friend. Favorite Memory: Besides hanging out during countless University Choir functions, parties, and movie nights in crowded dorm rooms (which are all some of Alyssa's favorite memories), Eden and her parents took several of her friends to dinner and Alyssa really enjoyed meeting everyone and learning more about Eden’s background. Fun Fact: Alyssa loves the outdoors. Kayaking, horseback riding, fishing, and hiking with her husband Joe are some favorite activities.
Groomsman
How Zachary Met the Groom: Cousins! Favorite Memory: Playing football with Josh and Matthew. Fun Fact: He has an X, Y, and Z in his name.
Usher
How Brandon Met the Groom: When Brandon rushed AEPi, Greenie and Berkie quickly hit it off as huge hockey fans, as you don't find many people who like hockey as much as they both do. A couple weeks later Josh became Brandon's pledge father during his pledgeship. Favorite Memory: From nights sleeping in the tundra that was his room during pledgeship (this man blasts his AC during the middle of winter) to countless occasions where he would wander into my room in and chow down on my snacks, Brandon came to know Greenie as a good friend and brother. They've refereed Intramurals together, watched NASCAR together, and have formed a bond that Brandon wouldn't have expected to make when he started at Purdue. He is glad to call Greenie his brother for life! Fun Fact: He is super color blind.

How John Met the Groom: Josh and John had a few similar interests at Purdue University in that they both majored in Mechanical Engineering and were in the Purdue NROTC together. Whether they first met at an ROTC physical training session or during an introductory circuitry class is a little blurry to John. During their last semester at Purdue, they were also on the same senior design team. Fun Fact: John has visited 10 countries in his life so far (Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali, Costa Rica, Peru, England, Ireland, Spain, Italy, and Mexico). He's hoping to expand that list with his time in the Navy.
