Is there parking available at the castle?

Answer

Yes we have plenty of car parking space at the castle. When guests arrive at the castle they will be directed by a member of staff to the car park closest to your accommodation.

Can guests book their accommodation through the castle?

Answer

No, guests book and pay for their accommodation directly with the bride & groom, the castle is unable to take bookings or payment for accommodation directly.

What time is check in and check out?

Answer

On day of arrival guests can check in from anytime after 2pm and check out time on the day of departure is midday, 12pm.

Does the castle have WiFi?

Answer

Yes there is WIFI available in the castle, wings, stables and lodges, however it should be noted mobile phone signal can be intermittent.

What kind of outlets are used for electronic devices?

Answer

UK-style (Type G) electrical outlets, which have three rectangular prongs. The voltage is 230V (higher than in the U.S.). We recommend bringing a universal travel adapter to keep things simple.

Each room is equipped with towels, toiletries, a hair dryer as well as access to iron and ironing board.

June in Scotland is generally mild and pleasant, with daytime temperatures typically ranging from 55–70°F. Evenings can be cooler, and light rain is always possible.

Our wedding dress code is formal. For women, this means a long evening gown, and for men, a suit and tie are appropriate.

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

10% tip is the common guideline if you received good service and no service charge is already on the bill.

Yes, entry into Scotland requires a passport. Please be sure that it is valid for at least 6 months after your dates of travel. *Please be sure to also complete your UK Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) prior to arrival.
