Bride
LOVES: Life, travel, food, wine, music, animals, winning (cases), awesome people and Josh Silcox.
Groom
LOVES: Cooking, traveling, gardening, the outdoors, skiing, micheladas and bloody marys, politics, hating on politicians, excel spreadsheets, order and Beba.
Matron of Honor
THINGS I LOVE ABOUT E: She is the sweetest, most beautiful person inside and out; she sings like a song bird, plays the piano like Elton John; dances like Miley Cyrus when no one's watching; an absolute rock star and bada$$ lawyer; an avid story teller with a fantastic knack for animalizing humans; a wonderful wife to Brendan and mother to Harper and Jack; a chicken and green bean aficionado; the kind of girl who sends flowers to her doctor's receptionist; and an amazing friend!
Maid of Honor
THINGS I LOVE ABOUT MONNY: She is the quintessential Southern woman... or Filipino woman... really both; the only woman who will come over for dinner, drinks and debauchery and send a perfectly written thank you note the next day (and by the time I crawl out of bed, I can count on the fact that she has already posted herself in a sea of manicured J Crew outfits ...); her love of life, adventure and travel, even if it means getting whisked away on a moped in Thailand; her ability to make sweet Mac and Maggie sit perfectly still in costumes for every season; her ability to turn any event into a beautiful special occasion; the fact that she is always there for holidays, birthdays, etc.; that no matter what direction life has taken us, I know we will always have each other's back.
Bridesmaid
THINGS ABOUT MIR THAT MAKE ME STIR: Where do I begin. . . I've known sweet Mir since back in the day in Wide Awake Wilson; the Beba, Mir, Camille shenanigans are things that movies (and best friendships) are made of; we have more stories than I can count, many of which my mom would not want recounted at my wedding (i.e. they were fun!); she is a fantastic mom of famous pets like Kitty Elvis and the Mac daddy frenchie, Sir Charles Barks, who not only goes everywhere with Mir, but has met the real Charles Barkley; the chocolate milk Tonya Harding; 40 under 40 of fabulousness; East Coast-West Coast straddler; she is one of the coolest (and most beautiful) girls anyone has ever met; as successful as she is wild; as spicy as she is sweet; can out "ghost" Casper; and is an awesome friend!
Bridesmaid
THINGS THAT MAKE ME SLOW CLAPP FOR 'MILLE: Coming in hot. She does not come in any other way. From my first college frat parties (when I was 16) to my first Bonnaroo, Camille has been there! She can Widespread MF Panic or Grateful Dead with the best of them, be a Debutante the next night, be the queen of the Wilsonites the next... there is no crew she can't hang with, and she is always the life of the party with the biggest heart of anyone! I know that together, the good times will always roll!
Bridesmaid
THINGS I LOVE ABOUT STEPH: She is as strong as she is kind (Ex. A, She biked all the way across the country; Ex. B. she married a Helmer- THANK YOU); she is always sweet, composed and generous to everyone; she is comfortable in her own skin; she barely blinks when Tom shows up at the beach in break-away swim trunks or walks around in a Hugh Heffner bathrobe; she came into our zany family without missing a beat (or filing a restraining order); she is the type of girl who will spend way too much $$$ on gourmet chocolate Easter eggs to make Easter in Elm City special; no matter how chaotic things may get, you know Steph will be by your side with a smile on her face!
Bridesmaid
THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THERESA: I have known Theresa for over half of my life, and loved the girl more than a decade before my brother married her; she never has an unkind word to say about anyone; she is beautiful, smart and creative... sometimes, hilariously creative (keep her away from Craigslist freebies ;-); she is up for anything; a great person to cook a healthy dinner with... especially if you have at least five hours to spare and lots of wine; a raging pyromaniac; and a wonderful wife, mother and friend!
Reader
THINGS I HEART ABOUT TIKI: Tiki is like my sister from another mother. Whether she is helping me polish off a bottle of rose for an impromptu dance party or making juice drinks and dinner to detox the next day, she always brings the goodness! We have had some of the most epic Sunday Fundays ever, amazing midnight walks down Dirty Piedmont, stolen a few stages, killed a few ziplines, hunted a few Templetons, taken some great trips and undoubtedly have many more in store!
Reader
THINGS I LOVE ABOUT HYE: From the moment this uncultured, crazy little boiled-peanut-eating Southern girl met the little Asian cheerleading-BackstreetBoy-loving-naive Charlotte girl our first week at UNC, I knew we would be friends. We have grown up A LOT since then, but always stayed in touch as Hye has moved around the world from Chapel Hill to San Francisco to Switzerland and back. It doesn't hurt that we've caught up over some amazing trips in the meantime (like Greece and South Africa... let the romance flow). Best of all, Hye, Brent, and her precious baby girl Sienna are now in Atlanta and just a few blocks away! Reunited and it feels so good!
Father of the Bride
LOVES: Golf, sports, working, his family, transporting humans and things in a wheelbarrow, getting a good deal and a cold beer with peanuts.
Mother of the Bride
LOVES: The beach, gardening, reading, Beba, shopping, packing closets to the brim, power tools, Beba, gaming, family, Christmas and Beba,
