Eppley OMA is the closest main airport in Omaha Nebraska and a 25 minute drive to the wedding venue. This airport uses most airlines like Southwest, Delta, American, Frontier, United, Allegent etc. Other airports would be Lincoln LNK a 45 minute drive to wedding venue, Des Moines International DSM and Kansas City International MCI are 2.5 hour drive to wedding venue.
Travel Note
The outdoor wedding venue is at the Egermier's private home in the rural area of South Sarpy County Nebraska, just 5 miles south of Downtown Papillion Nebraska. The City of Omaha Nebraska is 20 minutes away from the venue. It offers all the amenities of any metropolitan area for major airport Eppley OMA, entertainment, dining, and shopping. Other surrounding towns just minutes from the wedding venue are Bellevue, Springfield, LaVista, Louisville, Gretna, Ashland, or Plattsmouth. If you are wanting different lodging then recommended, reach out to us for some suggestions.

Travel Note
There are multiple options for camping in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. Here are some suggestions for the nearest to the wedding venue that include RV hook ups. Please check each site for reservation policy ASAP because most are in high demand in June and booking last minute would not be an option. If hauling your camper from your "neck of the woods" isn't an option, check out Outdoorsy.com for camper rentals. Most host will even deliver it to your camping spot. Walnut Creek Campground - 10 minutes to wedding venue and sits on fishing lake. Louisville State Recreation Area - 17 minutes to wedding venue and sits along the Platte River. Platte River State Park - 23 minutes to wedding venue and sits along the Platte River. Branched Oaks State Recreation Area - 1 hour to wedding venue and sits on a full scale recreational lake.

While hiking in our area isn't elevated but you may find enjoyment in some a the scenery along the hilly paths of Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. Some of our favorites are Fontenelle Forest, Glenn Cunningham Lake Park, and Platte River State Park. There are many more in the area so check out the link for what you may find to your liking.
