Where is the event located?

Answer

We will be hosting our wedding at the Paine Art Center and Gardens. The address is 1410 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, WI 54901.

Will the bride and groom be taking the same name?

Answer

We will remain Theresa Wawiorka and Joseph Betley after marriage.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love for family and friends to look and feel their best with us! We are requesting semi-formal dress code for our evening. Please, no jeans.

Are kids allowed at either the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Sorry, but no. We are having an adult only event! We hope by giving this information in advance it will allow for our friends and family with little ones to make any arrangements they need in order to be able to attend.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to our wedding please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Can I bring guests/ +1's not on my invitation?

Answer

We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure you are RSVPing for yourself and your guest.

Where are the ceremony and reception be taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Paine Art Center and Gardens. The ceremony will take place outside in the beautiful gardens. The reception, dinner, and dancing will be located in the Carriage House & Conservatory.

Is there parking nearby?

Answer

Event parking is available in our parking lot at 1313 Elmwood Avenue; on-street parking is located on Algoma Boulevard and surrounding streets Congress or Elmwood Avenue. Handicap accessible parking and parking for guests with mobility impairments is located in our parking lot on the north side of our mansion, off Algoma Boulevard.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Although we plan to have a beautiful Wisconsin spring wedding, please plan to bring a light jacket! The venue will provide umbrellas and tents in the event of rain.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony you will have time to grab and drink and enjoy all the beautiful gardens the Paine has to offer!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive after 3:30 p.m. as the ceremony starts at 4 p.m.

Do you have a hotel blocked for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do not have a hotel blocked. Please see the travel page on the website to see recommended hotels in the area.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 6th, 2022 on our website.

Will food be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We will be serving a variety of meal choices that you can choose from when you RSVP! If you need any special accommodations, please email us at twawiorka@gmail.com and let us know.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Yes. Please let us know in advanced so we can inform the caterer.

We have registered with Zola. You can find our registry on our website!

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

No. These items must be returned to the florist.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture the event for us and share it with you! Please refrain from taking photos using flash at the reception. We would prefer to keep our event private and to not have pictures posted on social media without our consent.

We will be having an open bar with wine and beer. Please bring cash for any other beverages you need to purchase from our bartenders!
