The first two-thirds of the list highlights spots within walking distance of The Chase, while the rest are can’t-miss gems worth a quick Uber or drive.

Up-Down STL

Up-Down St. Louis features more than 60 arcade games from the ‘80s and ‘90s, pinball machines, four classic skee-ball alleys, Nintendo 64 console gaming, life-size Jenga and Connect Four. We have been here for a few dates — it is a great spot if you want something fun without staying out too late!

The Gateway Arch

You can’t come to St. Louis without seeing the iconic Arch! Take a ride to the top for incredible views of the city and the Mississippi River or explore the Museum of Westward Expansion located beneath it. You can even just walk around the Arch grounds and riverfront.

Budweiser Brewery Experience

Learn about St. Louis’ beer history and see the famous Clydesdales. We've been on this tour a few times, and it is fun!

Missouri Botanical Garden

One of the oldest botanical gardens in the country; gorgeous in the fall.

Damn Fine Hand Pies

Don't be fooled by the name - This place serves more than just savory and sweet pies. This is Talia & Joseph's absolute favorite bakery in St. Louis. If you go, order the old fashion cake donut and sausage gravy hand pie.

Baked & Boiled Bagels

Fantastic bagels and baked goods (get there early). This is Talia's favorite bagel spot in St. Louis. If you are looking for something to do after, stop by the Soulard Farmers Market after. Its's super cool!

Union Loafers Café and Bread Bakery

1629 Tower Grove Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110

Famous for artisan bread and sandwiches at lunch, and wood-fired Loafer’s Pie pizza for dinner. One of the best all-around spots in the city. It's Talia's favorite restaurant!

Balkan Treat Box

Nationally recognized, wood-fired Balkan street food (lunch only, and worth the line and drive!).

O+O Pizza

102 West Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves, MO 63119

Modern Neapolitan-style pizza with creative toppings and amazing pastas. We go here monthly!
