The dress code is semi-formal, which falls between cocktail and black-tie attire. For women, this can include cocktail or midi dresses, or a dressy jumpsuit. For men, suits with ties are encouraged. As a fun touch, the bride and groom will be wearing cowboy and cowgirl boots throughout the evening, and we would love for you to join in if you have a pair!
The event will feature an outdoor ceremony, dinner inside the barn, and a tented reception, so please dress accordingly and come prepared for a mix of indoor and outdoor fun! Please note that the ceremony will take place on grass. If you plan to wear heels, we recommend opting for a block or chunky heel to avoid sinking into the ground.
We recommend booking through our reserved hotel block at the Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta in St. Louis, which you will find under the “Travel” section of our website. We’ve secured plenty of rooms to accommodate our guests, and transportation to and from the wedding will depart from this location.
All festivities will take place at Duck Hollow Farm in Waterloo, Illinois.
Required transportation to and from the wedding celebration is provided. Shuttles will depart the Chase Park Plaza promptly at 2:30pm. Guests not staying at the hotel should plan to meet the shuttles at the Walmart Supercenter parking lot in Waterloo at 3:15pm. Return shuttles will run at 8:00pm, 9:00pm, 10:30pm, and the final trip at 12:00pm.
Parking at the venue is very limited, so we will be providing transportation for guests to and from the event. Shuttles will depart from the Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta promptly at 2:30pm, as well as from the Walmart Supercenter parking lot in Waterloo, IL at 3:15pm. If you are staying at The Chase Park Plaza, or if you would like to park there and take the shuttle to the event, the discounted parking rates are: Overnight self-parking is $30 per night + tax | Valet parking is $40 per night + tax For local attendees who are not staying at The Chase Park Plaza and prefer not to pay for parking, we recommend taking the shuttle from the Walmart Supercenter in Waterloo, where free parking is available.
