We are making our dream come true and getting married in the beautiful area of Tuscany in Italy. However, we understand with travel, time and costs some of our guests may feel unable to attend. Although we dearly wish to see each and everyone of you as we make our vows we also understand this may not suit all of you. So please make the decision about attending that works for you.
We sat together on our first day at Exeter University and instantly became mates, Maddy liked Joe's wit and charm, Joe liked Maddy a lot.....as he thought to himself "thats got Mrs Williamson written all over it". Over the next few months we became the very best of friends and before long it became clear that we were head over heels for each other.
Joe had it all figured out he'd bought the perfect ring asked for Maddy's Father's blessing and intended to do the deed by a glacial lake in the Canadian Rockies. But things didn't go quite to plan. Instead a freak snowstorm and a visibility of only 10ft mean't the scariest road-trip of our lives. Little did we know during the white knuckle drive the back door of the RV had frozen open. The diamond ring was in serious jeopardy of falling out of the backdoor and being lost to the elements, however luckily Joe later found the diamond safe and sound under 3 inches of snow kicked up into the RV during the journey. During the night in -15C temperatures Joe resolved to drive back to the lakes and ask Maddy to be his wife. He asked a photographer to take our photo at the beautiful lake Louise and finally knelt in the snow, who could say no to that?
