This may seem obvious, but one of our favorite things to do was to enjoy the beautiful Riverwalk in Florence. You can grab a cold beer, walk around the city, and sit on the steps of the Duomo while enjoying the sound of live string music.

We would love for you to join us here for a picnic on September 13th but if you can’t make it that day, we highly recommend that you make a trip to these beautiful gardens while you’re here! Beautiful sculptures, scenic views, and endless plant displays built by the Medici family.

The Boboli Gardens

So nice, we ate there twice! We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around one day in 2019, and I (Leyla) insisted that we tried it because the vibes looked immaculate-highly recommend trying the Florentine Steak!

Osteria del Proconsolo

See art from the middle ages, as well as a collection of ancient sculptures and busts, owned by the Medici family. Our favorite is the Birth of Venus!
