Sullivan Old Town BBQ
For some authentic Texas barbeque Sullivan's is the place to go! We went here for our third date and had an absolute blast listening to live music and eating LOTS of brisket. This restaurant is BYOB so make sure to bring your own drinks if you'd like! It is also closed on Sundays so make sure to plan ahead.
Whiskey & Smoke
Joe recommends a sit down dinner at Whiskey & Smoke Bourbon and Barbeque. Here you can enjoy your favorite cocktail and some delicious smoked brisket all while taking in the beautiful view of the River Walk! This restaurant is only open for dinner and closed on Sundays so we do recommend making reservations for Friday night if you wish to eat here.
Clink Wine Bar + Bites
If you love wine like Leah does then she recommends you checkout Clink Wine Bar + Bites. Enjoy their Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help you recover from that reception hangover you're bound to have!
Stone Creek Park
Do you love the outdoors and nature-watching? If so, Joe and Leah highly recommend a stroll through Stone Creek Park. Pack a picnic or shoot some hoops on their full-size basketball court! If you have kiddos with you make sure to let them enjoy the large playground on-site.
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza
The Museum, located within the former Texas School Book Depository building, chronicles the assassination and legacy of President John F. Kennedy.
Weinberger's Deli
Voted the best deli in Texas and its located in old downtown Grapevine! We recommend ordering online, picking up your sandwiches, and taking them to Hop and Sting Brewing Company!

We have a block of rooms at this hotel. It is about a 15 minute drive from the Church and Royal Affairs Ballroom. There are several other hotels right next to it if you prefer a different type.
