On Friday October 20th of 2023, Leah and Joe both "swiped right" on a Christian dating app and their love story began. After two days of messaging on Upward, they decided to grab coffee at Summer Moon in Frisco. What they thought would be a casual first date ended up being eight hours of talking (sorry to the Summer Moon employees who were trying to close up). From that first date they both knew they'd be together for the rest of their lives. In fact, Joe proposed at the exact same coffee shop they went to on their first date on March 16th of 2024!
