FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lauryn Bernt and Joseph Stibral
Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we would love to have everyone attend, due to the capacity limitations of our venue, we are only able to accommodate those indicated on your invitation/RSVP by name or by "+1". Thank you for understanding!

Question

Do I have to RSVP?

Answer

Yes, please! This is important in the planning process as we finalize ceremony seating and dinner at the reception. If we do not get an RSVP back by the deadline of May 28th, 2025, it will be marked as "decline". Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about RSVPing. We want to see all your wonderful faces on our big day!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be at Bishop Marty Memorial Chapel at Mount Marty University. Guests may park in student parking, the small lots east or west of the chapel, on the west side of the main hospital parking lot, or free street parking. There is plenty of free street parking downtown where the reception will be. Please be prepared to walk a block or two if closer parking fills up. We look forward to seeing you!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Due to venue capacity limitations, we only have reserved seats for those listed on the invitation/RSVP. Enjoy this date night on us! Any children invited will be listed by name on the RSVP.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal attire. The couple encourages guests to participate in the garden party theme with a pastel or neutral color palette. Ladies, the more ruffles and floral patterns, the better! Gentlemen, please refrain from wearing blue jeans or sneakers. Whites and ivories are reserved for the bride with the exception of undershirts or button-downs. Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors in an air conditioned space. For more information, please see the "Attire" tab.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive between 1:30 - 1:45 p.m. to ensure you get to your seat in time for the ceremony!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture the entirety of our day. Please refrain from taking pictures or other phone usage during the ceremony out of respect for the couple's wishes. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like! We would love to see them.

Question

Do you have hotel blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have several hotels with room blocks, in addition to various Airbnb and other lodging options. Please see the "Travel" tab for more information.
