COVID Policy FAQs

Our wedding venue, The Monarch, has hosted a number of medium to large events during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. They have developed a suite of procedures that satisfy the latest restrictions imposed by the Weber County Health Department to ensure the health and safety of all guests. In addition to these procedures, the following Frequently Asked Questions hopefully address any lingering concerns.
Question

Do I have to wear a mask?

Answer

Yes - we're requesting that you wear a mask to comply with Weber County's new public health requirements. We are bummed that we will not be able to see everyone's faces as normal, but are so glad that our guests can still attend as long as they are willing to mask up! We can hardly wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What's the plan for social distancing?

Answer

While the onus of responsibility to socially distance lies with the attendee, we will be providing the option to be seated socially distanced (6 + ft.) for the ceremony/reception. This option is available when RSVPing online.

Question

How will food be served?

Answer

Food will be served cafeteria-style with one PPD equipped server per food station. The line(s) for food and drinks will have social distancing markers and guests will proceed by table.

Question

What if I have displayed COVID symptoms (fever, cough, etc) within the last 14 days?

Answer

While we would love for everyone to be able to attend, if you are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms we regretfully request that you stay home. We're hoping to stream the ceremony live over Zoom; the link will be provided on our site.

For all the days along the way
