Question
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please make sure you have arrived by 13.15 for the wedding ceremony at Poynton Baptist Church. Jem will be arriving at 13.30.

Am I invited to the family celebration?
Answer
If you go to the RSVP page of this site you will be able to see if you are invited to the family celebration :)

Where is it?
Answer
The ceremony will be at Poynton Baptist Church (SK12 1RE). The family celebration (invitation only) will be at Poynton Sports Club (SK12 1AG).

What's the parking situation?
Answer
There's very limited parking at the church, so we'd ask you to please leave that for the bridal party and those who aren't able to walk from another car park (please let us know in advance if this is you) There are carparks at Poynton Sports Club (a 10-15min walk away) and Poynton Civic Hall (pay & display, a 5 min walk away). If you are driving please allow extra time to find a space!

What time will it finish?
Answer
The ceremony will be finished by 2:45pm followed by some refreshments. If you're coming to the family celebration (invitation only) then Joe & Jem are scheduled to leave at 9:50pm - if you're able to stick around for a bit after that to help with set down then please do!

What should I wear?
Answer
Whatever makes you feel celebratory! There will be 10ish minute walk between venues so please make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes :)

Are there any colours I should avoid wearing?
Answer
No! Jem will be wearing a champagne coloured dress and the bridesmaids will be wearing a dark blue/teal - but we're happy for you to wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes definitely! We love children and they are welcome to join us throughout the day.

What if I don't want pictures taken?
Answer
If you do not want your picture taken please let one of us know before the day. There will be a photographer taking pictures of the day but we can make sure that your picture is not put online or shared if you would prefer not.

Can I do anything to help?
Answer
We'll need a lot of people to help with stuff on the day, we'll be messaging people to ask them to do specific roles but if you are keen to help on the day then please let us know! We also would really appreciate if there's anyone who's able to help us pick stuff up from the venue in the days after the wedding - please get in touch!
