We recommend wearing your finest attire in keeping with the sacredness of the occasion. While there is no strict dress code, we ask that you dress respectfully, as the Mass is a sacred ritual. Men are encouraged to wear a suit or dress shirt with trousers, and women are invited to wear a dress or elegant attire. Think of it as the best you have available to wear to honor the sanctity of the ceremony.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 12:00 pm, so we recommend arriving at least 15-20 minutes before the start to allow for parking and seating. The church may fill up quickly, and we want everyone to be settled before the service begins.
The Traditional High Latin Mass will last approximately 2 hours. It is a beautiful and meaningful ceremony that includes rich liturgical elements, so we recommend arriving early to settle in. The service will include moments of standing, kneeling, and sitting, and we encourage you to join us in reverence as we celebrate the sacrament of marriage. We’ll have programs available to help guide you through the Mass.
We kindly ask that you refrain from clapping during or immediately after the wedding ceremony while still in the church. The sacred nature of the Mass calls for a reverent atmosphere, and we want to honor the solemnity of this moment. However, feel free to celebrate and cheer once we move to the reception afterward! Your understanding and respect are greatly appreciated.
