We met back in school, and honestly, Crystal thought Joe was the most annoying guy ever. He just would not stop talking! She’d go home and tell her mom all about this kid who wouldn’t leave her alone, and one day her mom said, “Are you sure you don’t like him?” (She tried to hide a smile at that one.) A little while later, Joe asked Crystal to prom — and for once, the usually confident, talkative guy was completely nervous and red-faced. She said yes, and that’s pretty much where it all began. Since then, we’ve been through a lot together — laughing, growing, annoying each other (mostly Joe’s fault), and realizing we couldn’t imagine life any other way.
