Question

Why is the Wedding on a Monday?

Answer

The reason the Wedding is on a Monday is because Joseph’s Birthday is September 23rd, and Clarissa’s Birthday is April 23rd, and they wanted their anniversary date to be the 23rd as well. This year January 23rd happens to land on a Monday.

Question

By when do I have to RSVP?

Answer

RSVP no later than December 2, 2022 To RSVP go to the RSVP tab on the website and type in your full name.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Arrive 30-15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time because doors will close at 1:55 p.m. and will not be opened until after the wedding.

Question

Will I really not be allowed inside once the church doors close?

Answer

Yes. There are no exceptions. These are the rules of the church itself. The groom and bride will have no control over who can be allowed inside once church doors close.

Question

Can I just attend the reception?

Answer

No. The reception is exclusively for those who participate in the Mass celebration.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. Parking will be available behind the Church in the parking lot located between Jackson St. and Avenida De Las Americas. The south section of the parking lot is designated parking for Annunciation Catholic Church.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Wedding guests are required to dress in modest, reverent, and respectful attire that reflects the sacredness of the house of God and respects the sacredness of the Sacrament that will be celebrated. Women must cover their shoulders during the ceremony and may remove their covers for the reception. No cleavage/short dresses are to be worn inside the church. Men are not allowed to wear shorts or sandals.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The wedding colors are blue, sage, beige, and gold. Feel free to match the theme.

Question

Can I use my phone to take pictures inside the church?

Answer

No. The use of cell phones is prohibited inside the Church at all times. Leave your phones in your car to avoid the temptation to use them at all. You do not have to worry about recording or capturing the ceremony. The happy couple has hired a photographer for photographs and can share them with you.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have the option for a plus one when RSVPing, you can bring a date and fill their name out on the RSVP tab on the website. If you DO NOT have the option, you may not bring a date. We want an intimate wedding. Thank you for respecting our wishes.
