The wedding theme is elegance, sophistication, and glamour. Guests are required to wear black tie attire (tuxedos and formal gowns). Deep colors such as, black, midnight blue, and forest green are recommended. Jeans, sneakers, and bright/bold/neon colors are not allowed.

To keep the celebration intimate and meaningful, we are reserving the wedding for our closest family and friends, which means we will not be able to accommodate plus-ones. We appreciate your understanding and cannot wait to share this moment with those who are dear to us.

Free parking is provided.

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception are at the same venue, which can be found on your invitation and the Schedule Section of the wedding website. On the day of the event, you will see signage directing you to the back patio where the ceremony will take place.

Answer

Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors in the garden, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the garden on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats.

The wedding hosts will provide alcoholic beverages using a ticket system. Guests are allowed 2 tickets per person. Please drink responsibly and do not bring any outside alcohol. Guests are responsible for their own alcohol consumption and limit.

Answer

Richmond International Airport (RIA) is the closest airport. The hotel will be accessible from the RIA via taxi or ride share.

Travel is also not included to and from the wedding venue. The best form of transportation is by car, Uber, or Lyft services.

We understand that for some, this will be your first time traveling to Virginia. We are very excited to have you celebrate our special day with us so we prepared the following list of hotels (on the Travel page) to accommodate your stay. All hotels are within 5-10 minutes of the wedding venue.
