Do you have a block of rooms?

Answer

We do not have a block of rooms reserved at any hotel in San Luis Obispo. There are a few recommendations on our website, and many hotels in San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Atascadero, or Pismo Beach are within 15 minutes of the Mission.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend cocktail attire (cocktail dresses, dress pants, etc.). Please no jeans. The reception will be held outdoors in the summertime. While the weather in San Luis Obispo is typically very mild, the temperature is known to drop significantly once the sun goes down. We recommend coming prepared with a jacket or wrap in case this happens.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by May 30th with the card included in your invitation.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If it is indicated on your invitation "and guest", then yes. If it does not, then we would prefer if it were just you.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, there is a parking lot located at the back of the mission on Palm Street where you can park for free. If you do not choose to park in the church lot, there is a parking structure on Palm Street where you can pay to park. There is also free parking at the reception venue. If you are planning to Uber, they may be hard to come by in Santa Margarita as it is more removed from night life than San Luis Obispo. Please plan accordingly.
