It all started back when we were unexpectedly paired together as part of a wedding. What began as a simple introduction and pairing quickly turned into a close friendship that carried us through our transformative years. Life eventually took us in different directions, and we lost touch for a while—but as fate would have it, our story wasn’t finished yet. During the COVID-19 quarantine, we reconnected—and everything changed. What started as a "hey, how have you been?" check in, quickly turned into something more. After our first date, we became inseparable. Whether it was bonding over our shared love of food, travel, or spending nights watching our favorite shows and movies, we found so much joy in simply being together. Five years later, Joseph proposed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico—combining two of our greatest loves: each other and traveling the world together. Now, we’re so excited to begin this next chapter in Punta Cana, surrounded by the people we love the most. Choosing a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic felt like the perfect way to celebrate not only our love story, but also our shared passion for adventure, culture, and unforgettable experiences.
