You’ve traveled so far to celebrate with us! Below we outlined some useful information to help your travels go as smooth as possible. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask us!

Flight

Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD)

MAD is the closest airport to fly into, and is quite easy to navigate! It’s only about 25 mins away from our venue, and center city. You can use the airport express bus running 24/7 or catch the Line 8 Metro to get to the city center in a few minutes. But, we’d recommend a taxi or Uber for convenience.

Travel Note

Cash/Euros

We recommend you bring a bit of cash in case of an “emergency” – aka, you just ordered a cold one at the cutest taberna, but they only take cash ;). Also note that many of the flea/street markets only accept cash.

Travel Note

Additional Notes for First-Time Madrid Visitors

Tipping Culture: Tipping is not customary; rounding up or leaving small change is plenty for good service. Seista Hours: Life slows down between 2:00pm and 5:00pm, with many shops closing. Meal Times: Spain gets a bit of a later start. Lunch is typically around 2pm, and dinner around 9pm.
