Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Julia Hembree and Joseph Smith
A few of our favorites and a few Saint Louis hot spots. Julie grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri and Joseph's family vacationed there every summer! We both have a love for this city and are so happy you will be here.

The Gateway Arch

St. Louis, MO 63102
, (877) 982-1410

It's amazing and doesn't get any more iconic if you're spending time in the city. Just hang out on the greens below and you won't be disappointed.

Blueprint Coffee

6225 Delmar Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63130
, (314) 266-6808

Every time we visit Saint Louis, we get coffee at Blueprint. It is our favorite in the city and holds a special place in our hearts. Go ahead and pop for that Espresso Tonic and the rest of your day will be off on the right foot.

Ted Drewes Frozen Custard

4224 South Grand Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63111
, (314) 352-7376

Everyone in Saint Louis gets their ice cream here. They are the best, hands down.

Imo's Pizza

4479 Forest Park Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108
, (314) 535-4667

Joseph's family visited Saint Louis every summer while growing up and Imo's became a family tradition. We recommend the hamburger pizza. (Lots of locations)

Mama’s On The Hill

2132 Edwards Street, St. Louis, MO 63110
, (314) 776-3100

Find an italian restaurant in The Hill with a good review, and go! This one just happens to be the Smith family staple. Say hi to Rich (the owner) if he's in for us!

City Museum

750 North 16th Street, St. Louis, MO 63103
, (314) 231-2489

This place is wild. For the child or the child at heart, you will be amazed. It requires the ability to climb and can be dangerous for small kids, but this is a great activity if you have energy to burn!

Saint Louis Art Museum

1 Fine Arts Drive, St. Louis, MO 63110
, (314) 721-0072

SLAM's regular collection (we suggest the contemporary wing!) coupled with unique seasonal shows makes it a regular destination whenever visiting. Admission is a cool $0 if you need further convincing.

Pulitzer Arts Foundation

3716 Washington Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63108
, (314) 754-1850

Such a great gallery with rotating exhibits. Check it out if you can! We go almost every time we go back.

Vintage Vinyl

6610 Delmar Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63130
, (314) 721-4096

For all the music lovers. Plus, its in the Loop which is fun to explore!

Fitz's

6605 Delmar Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63130
, (314) 726-9555

Best root-beer and watch it being bottled in the restaurant! Also in the Loop!

Sump Coffee

3700 South Jefferson Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63118
, (917) 412-5670

Another craft coffee destination if you find yourself on the southside of town.

Laumeier Sculpture Park

12580 Rott Road, St. Louis, MO 63127
, (314) 615-5278

Unique Sculpture Park!

Saint Louis Zoo

St. Louis, MO 63110
, (314) 781-0900

Its the best zoo ever, and its free. Make this a priority if the weather is pretty!

Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis

4431 Lindell Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63108
, (314) 373-8200

The coolest cathedral in Saint Louis. It will take your breath away.

Missouri Botanical Gardens

4434 Shaw Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63110

Sprawling, beautiful, and next door to the zoo.

Forest Park

5595 Grand Drive, St. Louis, MO 63112
, (314) 367-7275

Bigger than central park with all the cool things within it.
