Hey there, Julie here, recounting my perspective of how we met. Joseph was the extroverted sophomore who liked to join in with the hype of senior year, even though he wasn't actually a senior. He would join in on our crazy adventures, raising both fists in the air and chanting "SENIORSSSSSSSSSSSS!!" to revel in the moment with the rest of us. But to be honest, he felt like he was a part of the senior class the whole time. I officially met him the year before- I believe our first conversation was at a "dating table" in Barefoots Joe my junior year of college while our friend was closing the shop- but I grew to call him my friend my senior year. Fast forward a year and a half after graduation, we end up attending two weddings back to back, and got to spend more time than normal with each other. That is when Joseph said it clicked, but distance was definitely an issue. I was flying back to New York and Joseph still had to finish his last year of college. It wasn't until the fall that Joseph flew to New York (with our pals Taylor and Kathleen) where we did waaaay too many fancy things. (we went to a private speakeasy, jazz show, ate legit ramen, did a rooftop wine and cheese tasting....who even are we!?) aaaaaand decided to take our friendship further. :) And it all rolled along from there.
