The liturgy that will be said for our ceremony was the primary form of worship in the Church until 1969. Perhaps the most notable things about the Tridentine Mass are its use of the Latin language and sacred music. These lend to the unique sights, sounds, grandeur, and solemnity of the liturgy.
We kindly ask our guests to dress modestly and in a manner fitting for the House of God. • Shoulders and upper arms should be covered and necklines should be modest. • Tip: A simple light scarf or shawl to cover bare shoulders (and possibly cleavage) is sufficient. • Skirts and dresses should fall below the knee when seated. • Tip: If you prefer to wear above-the-knee skirts and dresses, you may bring a spare pair of tights or leggings that cover the knees that you can wear under your dress or skirt for Church and change out of for the reception.
The aerial photo at the top of the page shows available parking for the Church. You can park on the Church grounds (as shown in blue) or on the street in the neighborhood surrounding the Church (as shown in green).
Free parking is available at Omaha-Park Two Garage which is one block south of the Paxton Ballroom on the corner of 14th & Harney. Parking garage entrance is off of 14th Street. *The parking garage access code is #2400.* There is also metered parking on the streets surrounding the Paxton Ballroom.
We were hopeful to have our wedding ceremony live streamed so that our family and friends far away could join our special day. Unfortunately, we will not be able to make the live stream happen as we had hoped. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers! Know that we will be holding you all near and dear to our hearts on our big day. We will be sure to share photos with you all later.
