COVID-19 Information

Our celebration will remain in compliance with directives from the City of Lincoln and Lancaster County Health Department. See FAQs below; we will be doing our best to update the information on this page as it evolves. For most current information, visit: https://app.lincoln.ne.gov/city/covid19/how-to-help.htm We recognize that given the information below, you may have lingering concerns, so we encourage you to assess your decision to attend according to your level of comfort and discernment of what is best for your health and current circumstances. If you are unable to celebrate with us in person, prefer to attend only the ceremony, or prefer to opt out of portions of the reception, we completely understand; please let us know of your plans using the RSVP tab.
Question

What is the requirement regarding masks?

Answer

In accordance with current mandates from the Lancaster County Health Department and the city of Lincoln regarding COVID-19, masks will be worn during the entire ceremony (wedding Mass). Additionally, masks will be worn during the reception except when seated at your table (we have carefully put together a seating chart that either maintains distance, keeps within the same household, or has been specifically cleared for comfort level with those seated). Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Question

How many people will be in attendance?

Answer

As of now, we estimate about 170 people to be in attendance.

Question

Will physical distancing between persons be observed?

Answer

As there is currently no LCHD mandate in place regarding physical distancing to those wearing masks and NOT within the same household. This will be largely up to the guests themselves to maintain physical distance. The church is large and allows for spacing to your comfort level; we are doing what we can to arrange for maximum space between tables at the reception, as well as to allow that seating at reception tables can remain either within family units, within explicitly expressed comfort levels, and/or allowing for 6ft of distance between persons (2 individuals or 2 couples to a table; seats will be assigned and name cards will be placed).
