What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Our dress code is formal, for man we ask that you wear a suit. For women, we request colorful long dresses to match the spring-summer vibes that Medellin has to offer. Given the warm climate in Medellín, we recommend lightweight, breathable fabrics to keep comfortable.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

All of the pre-wedding activities as well as the ceremony and reception will be taking place in Medellin, Colombia.

What if I don't RSVP on time?

Answer

We kindly ask all guests to RSVP by March 15, 2026. Since this is a destination wedding, we need a final guest count for our venue to ensure a smooth and stress-free planning process. Unfortunately, if you do not RSVP on time, we will not be able to accommodate you. Thank you for your understanding.

May I bring a guest with me to the wedding?

Answer

If you have a plus one, this will be included on your invitation. Otherwise, we cannot accommodate additional guests. Thank you for understanding.

Are children allowed on the wedding date?

Although we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only event. We kindly request that guests make arrangements for your children. Thank you for understanding

What’s the local currency, and should I exchange money before arriving?

Answer

Local Currency: The Colombian Peso (COP) is the official currency. Exchange Tips: While it’s convenient to exchange a small amount of money before arriving, you’ll find exchange services readily available at the airport or exchanging money in the US with your local bank. The area we are staying at takes major credit cards and debit as well.

What will the weather be like in Medellin, Colombia?

Answer

Medellín, Colombia, is known as the 'City of Eternal Spring,' with pleasant temperatures year-round. On June, the average temperature is expected to be around 78°F (26°C) during the day and 64°F (18°C) in the evening. However, there are high chances of cloud cover and occasional showers. We recommend dressing comfortably for warm weather but also being prepared for possible light rain. Our venue will have accommodations to ensure a beautiful and enjoyable celebration, rain or shine!

Are there any tipping customs guests should be aware of?

Answer

Yes, most restaurants will ask if you want the tip included (10%). You can choose to decline this option and leave a different amount if you prefer, but it is customary to tip around 10%.
