The Wedding Website of Jose Guerra and Logan Lewis
As most of us will be coming in from out of country, we hope this helps guide you during your stay in Spain!

Flight

Flight Deals to Europe

International flights may be cheapest if you purchase a roundtrip in and out of one city and from there flights within Europe are very cheap. The closest airport to our wedding venue will be Barcelona-El Prat (BCN). The next closest major airports would be Paris or Madrid. Try Google Flight Search, SkyScanner, or free alerts from Scott’s Cheap Flights for best deals to Europe. If booked in advance you should be able to find roundtrip tickets under $1k or even much cheaper depending on the airline. Note, the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup Final is taking place in Barcelona Sep 26 - Oct 7. Flights and hotels may fill up fast so we recommend booking sooner rather than later. From Paris or Madrid you can catch a connecting flight or train to Barcelona. Within Europe, tickets from airlines like EasyJet or RyanAir can cost around $30-50.

Travel Note

Passport & Visa Information

Travelers from the US do not need a visa to visit Europe. Your passport though cannot expire within 90 days of traveling, so make sure your passport doesn't expire this year! We hope you use our wedding as an opportunity to explore more of Spain, the Mediterranean, or broader Europe!

Travel Note

Rental Car & Public Transportation

Europe is very public transit friendly. You can easily get from airports to downtowns without needing a car. The buses and trains in Barcelona are very easy to navigate with Google Maps. Lots of tourism websites (e.g.https://www.barcelona.de/en/barcelona-public-transport.html) give lots of good information. The actual wedding will be in San Martí de Tous which is about an hour outside Barcelona. You will need a car to get there. Once everyone RSVPs we will connect guests so you can, if you choose, coordinate with others to rent a car for Fri Sep 27. You can pick up rental cars from the airport or the city center. Most major rental car companies (e.g. Avis, Hertz, Sixt, etc...) are options.

Hotel

Hotel America Igualada

44 Avinguda del Mestre Montaner, Igualada, CT 08700, Spain

This hotel, in the nearby town Igualada, is 15 min away from the castle where the wedding is taking place. As we will be partying late into the night after the wedding ceremony, if you want to avoid an hour drive back into Barcelona you can stay at this hotel close by for at least just that one night. Hotel has parking for those with rental cars. We will be staying here just the night of Fri Sep 27. They have a 10% discount for guests of our wedding if you use the code listed below.

Discount Code - Espaigastronomia10

Travel Note

Hotel or Rental in Barcelona

To get the most out of our stay in Barcelona we would recommend staying in the city for most of the time and either getting a rental (e.g. VRBO, AirBnB) with a group, or staying in a hotel. The actual day of the wedding you may choose to rent a car and drive out to Castell de Tous and then spend that one night at a rental or hotel in Igualada.
