Welcome Event. This is an informal optional gathering for anyone that is in Barcelona the day before the wedding. We'll meet at our favorite park in Barcelona, Montjuic, with incredible views of the city and the surrounding hills. We'll meet at Placa de Dante, the steps in front of the Dante statue. This is across from Piscinas Municipales de Montjuic & the restaurant Salts Montjuic. For the first hour, we'll be sitting and chatting on the grass and steps. For those who want a late lunch feel free to grab some tapas from Salts, and if anyone wants to sit feel free to bring a blanket. We'll walk up to the lookout points (Mirador Montjuic & Mirador de l'Alcalde) for views of the Port of Barcelona, and may catch some of the America's Cup yacht tournament. We'll finish by walking up to the Castell de Montjuic, a 17th century fortress. The Teleferic de Montjuic is a fun way to quickly get back down to the train stop while enjoying a beautiful panoramic view.
