Can I Bring a Plus One?

Answer

Guests who are invited to bring a plus one will be notified on their invitation. If your invitation does not include a plus one, we kindly ask that you attend solo — per strict venue guidelines, unannounced guests will be asked to leave. We can't wait for you to enjoy our celebration of love for each other!

Are the kiddos allowed?

Answer

Per strict venue guidelines, the kiddos need to be left out for this event. Children under the ages of 13 are not allowed at this venue per strict venue policy and you will be asked to leave if children are present upon your arrival. If you have a family invite, this will be noted on your invite. Make it a fun and memorable date night to reconnect with your loved one! (You may see our flower girl, Jr. Bridesmaid, and ring bearer, who are the only children allowed)

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

The beginning of our marriage is set at a beautiful Historical Mansion, and we cannot wait for you to experience it with us! We ask that you dress in Black Tie Optional Dress code, to match the elegance of the backdrop you will be at. Black Tie is not required, but welcomed. Formal cocktail and suits are also welcomed. The Bride and Groom ask that you please do not wear any pink or white or white variation. The Chambers-Martinez Immediate Family will receive a specific color palette for your Black Tie Optional attire.

Is this an "Unplugged Wedding?"

Answer

Yes and No! While we want you to be present in the moment with us during the ceremony, we welcome phones to capture memories before and after the ceremony (the bride loves taking pictures too!), just not during the actual ceremony. Our photographer and videographer will be working hard during this time to capture every second and you will probably be in some of them, so you can take a break from snapping pics, and enjoy this moment as witnesses to our marriage. (and you can look at our photos after we get them back!)

Is the wedding events inside or outside?

Answer

A mix of both! We will be all over the mansion grounds that day. The Ceremony will be outside on the Mediterranean Mansion Entrance (weather permitting), the Cocktail hour will be inside the Glass Conservatory, and our reception will be inside the Grand Ballroom. They are not far from each other, but it will require some walking, a mix of small hills, stairs, and flat surfaces. No gravel areas.

A love note from Jose & Laura

Answer

We know this seems like a lot of strict answers and this is the not-so-fun (but necessary!) part of planning a big wedding! This day is truly just about our love for each other and we both are so so glad to be able to share it with our friends and family for one day. Jose and I are simply just excited to be married, and to see you all in October. If you have questions that we did not list, please reach out to our Maid and Matron of Honor.
