Question

We love your invites! Can you tell us more about them?

Answer

Absolutely! We carefully chose each stamp on the envelopes to retell our story. José is from California, Brandon grew up in South Dakota. They met and fell in love in Colorado and are both passionate educators. Each stamp is collectible and ranges in dates from the 1930s-1980s. Please make sure you take a closer look at these gorgeous stamps we got from Little Postage House. Our invitations were carefully curated by our Wedding Planner, Sarah, on Paper Culture, where every order plants a tree. By choosing Paper Culture we made a commitment to sustainability. Our invitations were printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper, which means no trees were harmed. In addition, Paper Culture planted a tree in our name along with the 550,000 trees already planted, helping their efforts in reforestation. We dedicated our tree to our little nature lover, our dog Tobi.

Question

Tell us more about the Future Fund in your registry!

Answer

Sure thing! We truly have been blessed in our lives to have all we needed so we ask for nothing in concrete gifts. Instead, we decided to set up a “Future Fund” that will go towards the down payment on our very first home and the costly adoption process so that we can start to build our own family in our own home. We are so grateful for anything you would like to contribute to that fund. It would be our priviledge to tell our future children that they were brought to us by the love of our family and friends on our wedding day.

Question

Can I bring you boys a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Thank you so much for thinking about us! Please head to the “Registry” tab on this website for information on gifts. We request that if you are bringing a gift on the day of, that it be no larger than an envelope. If you insist on sending something sentimental, we won’t stop you! But, please ship it to 1255 Emerson St. Apt 1 Denver CO, 80218. Thank you!

Question

I’ve landed at DIA. Now what?!

Answer

I’m so glad you asked! Our favorite mode of transportation to and from the airport is the RTD Rail A Line. It’s easy and convenient. The train leaves from the main terminal at DIA and brings you to Union Station in Downtown Denver. It’s fast and cheaper than an Uber or Lyft. For more information, please check this link: http://www.rtd-denver.com/airport.shtml#attheairport

Question

How far is the ceremony from the reception?

Answer

St. John’s Cathedral is only 0.6 miles away from the Art. That’s about 7 blocks, or a cheap ride share. Scooter ride, or sashay down 13th St! We have mapped these locations for your convenience on our “Things To Do” tab.

Question

I will be driving to your fabulous event! Where can I park my ride?

Answer

St. John’s Cathedral has a parking lot located on 13th and Washington with ample street parking in the neighborhood. The Art hotel has got you covered with complimentary valet parking exclusively for our event.
