It started at the Family Resource Center — a place that holds a special corner of both of our hearts. Somewhere between apartment checks and after-work hangouts, a friendship was born. One that stuck. Post-graduation, life pulled them in different directions. But on December 21st, 2022, they found each other again at exactly the right moment. They started wanting to see more and more of each other, and on their first date, Jose laid his heart completely bare. Bailey stayed. The proposal came after a day of tex-mex, tiki drinks, and a perfectly orchestrated decoy — courtesy of friend Shelby and one very helpful Hobby Lobby worker. Jose walked Bailey to a picnic waiting in the park, got down on one knee, and she said "yes" to forever!
