FAQs

The Wedding Website of Joscelyn Jones and Eric Basque
Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for recommendations.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We've chosen to host an adults-only reception, creating an intimate celebration where our guests can unwind and enjoy every moment together without interruption.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

While we appreciate the love and support of our friends and family, we've chosen not to have a traditional registry. For those who have asked, we’ll be accepting contributions toward our honeymoon in place of gifts—but your love and support mean the most to us!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! But no vegans allowed. Just kidding! Please ensure you let us know in advance when rsvping to the wedding!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Duh! We will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3 pm. Please note this could change as we get closer to, but we will notify you well in advance of the start time! Please arrive just 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled 😊.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be free parking available at the Chilliwack Golf Club parking lot.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Cancelled! Kidding, of course! If rain interrupts our outdoor ceremony plans, we'll seamlessly transition the ceremony into the pavilion, ensuring our ceremony proceeds without interruption. For our out-of-towners, number one rule of us Vancouverites, we don't talk about the weather (fight club reference) :D

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is formal. Dresses, suits and ties, all the above! Since our ceremony will take place outdoors and on grass, we recommend bringing a jacket to stay comfortable during the event.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy! But feel free to bring out those phones on the dance floor so everyone can remember how good and coordinated they look dancing!
