Visit Independence Hall-where the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were both debated and adopted. Timed tickets are required, so book in advance on the National Park Service website. Check out Elfreth's Alley: America's oldest continuously inhabited residential street, with 32 historic homes dating back to the 18th century. The Museum of the American Revolution would be worth a visit if you have time.

A nice day would be the perfect time to visit this gallery on South Street that feels like walking through a life-sized, three-dimensional mosaic. It is the largest work by artist Isaiah Zagar, who spent years transforming vacant lots into a sprawling labyrinth of tunnels, grottos, and courtyards.

Check out the oldest zoo in America! We loved watching the primates swing around their habitat and enjoyed going early to catch feeding time for cheetahs, gorillas and otters (which scream really, really loudly when they want to get fed)

For panoramic views of the city, grab a cocktail at this gorgeous bar on the 60th floor of the Four Seasons. Open 11am Saturdays. (For a more casual rooftop experience check out BOK bar, a rooftop bar located in a former school that now is host to a whole range of vendors- but be aware this bar is outdoors.)
