Flight
We highly recommend booking your flights in advance (more than 6 months before the wedding). We recommend flying Singapore Airlines as they offer numerous non-stop options from many international locations, but other airlines (especially ones that are part of the Star Alliance) fly to Singapore too. For all international travel, please fly into Changi Airport. Be prepared for a long flight (17+ hours), potentially with one or more stops in between.
Travel Note
Please check if you need a visa or other travel documentation to enter Singapore or other countries you wish to visit. If you do need a visa or other travel documentation, we highly recommend getting this in advance (more than 6 months before the wedding). You can obtain a Singapore visa either by visiting the nearest Singapore embassy or applying online via https://www.ica.gov.sg/. If you are applying online via a 'local contact', please contact Nicole for her Singpass.
Hotel
We will be staying at the iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotel. It is right next to Gardens by the Bay (wedding venue) and easily accessible via bus, MRT, and car/taxi. Hotels in Singapore don't typically offer hotel-blocks, so you will have to make a normal reservation online or over the phone. Below are some other luxury hotel accommodations close to the wedding venue that you may wish to consider: 1. The Fullerton Hotel 2. The Westin Singapore 3. Ascott Raffles Place Singapore 4. Conrad Continental 5. Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay 6. Pan Pacific Singapore 7. JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach 8. Park Regis Singapore 9. The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore 10. Hotel Swissôtel The Stamford (When booking, please take note of any currency differences)
Travel Note
There are also plenty of affordable options. We recommend staying at: 1. Furama Riverfront 2. M Social Hotel 3. Studio M Hotel 4. Lyf Bugis 5. Yotel Singapore Orchard 6. Jen Singapore Tanglin 7. Mercure Icon Singapore (other Mecure locations are also recommended) (When booking, please take note of any currency differences) Please note that short-term vacation stays through Airbnb are illegal in Singapore. If those hotels aren't to your liking, we recommend finding accomodations in the following areas: Robertson Quay, Clarke Quay, and Chinatown. Singapore is a small, safe, and accessible country. No matter where you stay, you can easily get to your destinations via multiple modes of transportation (See FAQs).
