We're Getting Married!

It all started with a simple swipe on Hinge. Two lives, two paths that couldn't have been more different, converged with one line, “Hello gorgeous.” Just a few days later, they found themselves on their first date, an encounter that would become a hilarious story and the beginning of forever. Though they may be opposites in many ways, their differences have only brought them closer. He has shown her the beauty of living in the moment, while she has taught him the value of a well-thought-out plan. Together, they create a perfect balance—two halves that make a whole, each complementing the other in ways we never imagined. From that first date onward, they have been inseparable, proving that sometimes, opposites really do attract. Their love story is one of laughter, compromise, and the beautiful blending of two very different souls into one perfect match.

It was Christmas Eve surrounded by family and friends, and she had no idea what was coming! As the family all stood together, Jorge suddenly made a bee line for Carissa, his usual playful smile replaced by something more serious. Taking a knee in their backyard, before he could say anything, she blurted out “what the f**k” (in hindsight, that was not the best choice of words, lol… but she was in shock!) he looked into her eyes and said, "We have already been through it, so let's finish it. Will you marry me?" Time seemed to stand still. Those words captured everything they had been through—the ups and downs, their growth as a couple, and the love that had only deepened over time. Of course, she said yes! In that moment their journey together reached a beautiful new chapter and they can’t wait to start the next one with all of you!
