“Hanner” Hanner and Jordy met in second grade at Woodland School and quickly became inseparable. From being silly little kids, to moving to Grand Rapids together, and growing into adulthood, Hannah has been by Jordyn’s side through it all. Hannah is the Cristina Yang to Jordyn’s Meredith Grey — loyal, honest, and always showing up when it matters most. 💕

“Car” Micaela connected Kendall and Caroline by asking her to room with them for their junior year at Michigan State. Coincidentally, Kendall met Caroline their sophomore year in a Professional Writing Class. Kendall sat next to her and realized, “wait, aren’t we rooming together next year?” Car and Kendall both love to run and bond over their highs and lows of owning a dog! 💕

“Sis” “Sister” “Pokey” Carolyn and Jordyn met at the one and only rugby practice Carolyn ever attended. Years later, they reconnected at a party and have been like sisters ever since. Carolyn has been a constant source of laughter, love, light, and unconditional support to both Jordyn and Kendall. 💕

Susan Farrar

Susan marrying Jordyn and Kendall is truly a full-circle moment. Kendall first met Susan during her very first internship with the Traverse City Film Festival, and the two went on to work together for two more summers making some of Kendall’s favorite summer memories! After a summer of a lifetime, Kendall moved back downstate and matched with Jordyn—thanks, Tinder, for thinking she was still in Traverse City! Luckily Kendall was already planning a trip back Up North to help host The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the State Theatre with Susan and friends. After some long distance chatting, Kendall asked Jordyn to join so they could meet in person, turning Rocky Horror into their very first date. Susan opened her home so Kendall could stay for the weekend, giving Jordyn and Kendall the chance to turn the visit into a true date weekend filled with theatre, rugby, and a Halloween party. Over the years, Susan, Jordyn, and Kendall have remained close through visits, Pride celebrations, and plenty of brunches. Susan’s energy and warmth are a perfect representation of how Jordyn and Kendall want to contribute to their community. Having Susan marry them and stand with them on their wedding day is a beautiful reminder of how important she has been to their story. 💕

Walking side by side, they’ll bring Aunt Jord and Aunt Cookie’s rings down the aisle, with love, joy, wagging tails, and sunshine!
