Jordyn's version: In 2019 I moved to Charleston to finish my last internship for Physical Therapy school and when living with my parents my friends talked me into trying a dating app. I was very against it and only chatted with one guy on it.... his name was Jared. I had a couple back and forth messages before I did not get a response and the next day I was planning on going out on a boat with Sydney and her friends. We went to Sydney's favorite breakfast joint, Vicious Biscuit, before getting out on the boat. Our food was delivered by a tall blonde man and I was told "Jordyn 'biscuit boy' is cute". Yeah yeah yeah. That same day around 4pm the Jared on Bumble responds to my message "I am the manager at Vicious biscuit".... jaw dropped after looking at his fish pics a little closer I realized Jared was "biscuit boy". I asked him to hang out which we did once at a neighborhood pool. He brought Publix fruit as his afternoon snack to our first meet up. Classic. I then shot my shot and asked him for more of a date to meet up at a brewery after he was off work. He asked who all was going. Awkward!!! It was just me..... he then responded. "Oh, sorry I am usually really tired after work on Sundays". So I ended up not talking to him for 1 whole year. Within that 1 year I became a travel Physical Therapist and found myself in Clemson, SC. We had multiple awkward encounters of me going in to get gift cards for the holidays and then in January/February 2020 Jared got the opportunity to be in a cute local commercial presenting biscuits to Charleston and I thought hmm I wonder if he is dating anyone still.. I was coming home for the weekend planning a weekend for my moms birthday and going to brunch with Sydney suggesting we do Vicious because they had heart shaped biscuits! We sat at the bar, Jared served us and FINALLY he realized he missed out on something great 1 year ago and asked me to hangout. Long story short we had a covid love, hanging out going on social distancing walks, bike rides, workouts in the front yard. He wasn't even allowed in my parent's house until April or May. 2.5 years later we got engaged in Maine and it was perfect! Jared's Version: I was the new kid on the block so I knew only a hand full of people in Charleston so I was swiping right on Bumble when I came across this pretty little blonde that caught my eye so we ended up matching, exchanged some messages over time eventually got to hangout in person for an hour or so at the neighborhood pool. Long story short she started dating someone else for a while until she came in to Vicious one day with her sister and found out she wasn't in a relationship anymore so we started texting back and forth while she was on a travel gig in Clemson and then Covid happened and sent her home (which was 2 miles down the road) and the rest was history. I had short days with work, she had no work so during that time we spent lots of time together and after getting closer for the next 2.5 years I realized I wanted Archie a part of my life and they were a package deal so here we are.
