We're getting married!

Brenna, Hayden's sister, took pity on Jordyn's need for a date to the work holiday party and offered up her brother. We went on a few dates before the party, then were inseparable afterwards and continue to be attached at the hip two years later!

On June 20th, Jordyn went to her godmother's jewelry store to have her ring finger measured as she and Hayden had been talking about rings. Thinking she was being proactive, she sent the measurements to Hayden and called her mom on the way home, who told her she was being crazy for thinking Hayden's response was a little... off. Little did she know, Hayden had gone to the store TWO DAYS BEFORE to pick up the ring he had ordered the previous week. On June 21, Hayden suggested a "casual wine night" at our favorite winery. On arrival, they noticed that there was a new addition to the back of the property and took a walk back to look. While standing and admiring the view, Hayden dropped to a knee. While neither of them can remember what he said, there was a ring, and she said yes. Their friend Jenna was there to take pictures, while Brenna and Colleen hid in the bushes nearby and their families waited at Jordyn's parents house to celebrate afterwards. The craziest part of it all? Jordyn was completely and utterly surprised when it happened despite being incredibly difficult to surprise. Her thought is that she is simply too trusting in Hayden... and will probably continue to be.
