Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we have chosen to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only celebration with an exception for the bridal party. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time to enjoy a date night on us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We understand the importance of sharing your special day with loved ones. Our venue has limited capacity, so we can only welcome guests specifically named on your invitation. If you're eligible for a plus one, it will be clearly indicated on your formal invitation or RSVP link. We appreciate your understanding!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

YES! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! We have waited a LONG time for this day so party accordingly!

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and reception will both take place at Buckland in Delta. We're planning an outdoor ceremony, with weather permitting, with the reception to follow indoors. After we exchange our vows, guests can enjoy a cocktail hour while our bridal party takes photos.

Is the ceremony space indoor or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be an outdoor celebration, weather permitting! We recommend checking the forecast and dressing comfortably for an outdoor setting. Our cocktail hour will also take place outside, though guests are welcome to find their seats in the reception room if it's ready. In the event of rain, our venue has an indoor backup plan to ensure a beautiful ceremony regardless of weather conditions.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at ____. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to give yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat.

Can I take pictures with my cellphone?

Answer

We kindly request that guests refrain from using phones or cameras during our ceremony and keep all electronic devices silenced or turned off. Our goal is for everyone to be fully present and share in the intimate moments as we exchange our vows. Professional photographers will capture every special detail, and we look forward to sharing those images with you after the wedding. Once the ceremony concludes, we welcome you to take plenty of photos and videos during the cocktail hour and reception!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Convenient parking is available for all wedding guests. If you anticipate to celebrate a little to much, we want you to please find another ride home or utilize the shuttle that is provided. The venue kindly requests that any vehicles left on the premises be moved from the parking lot by 10am the following day.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

A shuttle service will be provided by ___ hotel to transport guests between the hotel and our ceremony venue. Since our wedding location is in a rural setting with limited transportation options, we kindly ask that guests plan accordingly, especially if they intend to enjoy alcoholic beverages. We recommend arranging alternative transportation to ensure everyone's safety and comfort.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We can't wait to celebrate with you in style! While we don't have a strict dress code, we encourage everyone to dress up and feel fabulous. Ladies are welcome to wear floor-length gowns, tea-length dresses, mid-length options, or even chic jumpsuits and pantsuits. Gentlemen can opt for dress shirts with long or short sleeves, paired with slacks, khakis, or dress pants. Feel free to choose any color that makes you feel confident—with one important exception: please avoid cream, white, or ivory. (Our bridesmaids will be stunning in dusky sage green and champagne, so keep that in mind!)

We're happy to work with you to ensure your dietary needs are met. Please contact the couple directly and we'll make every effort to accommodate your specific food allergy or dietary restrictions.

Answer
