The couple met through a mutual friend at a local bar in Maumee Ohio called Dales. Connor was super quiet and did not engage in any conversation with Jordyn at first. Jordyn would ask Connor questions and he would only reply with one or two words. Connor later admitted to Jordyn that he thought that she talked too much (surprise surprise). Needless to say, Connor did not ask for Jordyn's number that night. However, their paths ended up crossing again a couple months later when they both got invited to go on a weekend trip to Put-In-Bay. Throughout that weekend, Connor and Jordyn realized they have a lot of things in common and they formed a connection. After that trip, Connor and Jordyn were always together whether it was running errands, going to Dales to get a drink after work, or just hanging out together. Jordyn is also convinced that her dog Blue chose Connor to be a part of their lives. Anyone who knows Blue knows he is terrified to leave the yard and Jordyn's side. Well, Blue felt a connection to Connor as well and during a party at Jordyn's house he decided to follow Connor home to his mom's house causing Jordyn to have a meltdown thinking her dog was lost.

Ever since the Put-In-Bay trip, Connor and Jordyn would hang out almost everyday together. They would even go to family functions together "just as friends". Once enough people asked "So how long have you guys been together?" they decided to put a date on their relationship which ended up being June 24, 2021. Jordyn asked Connor why they ended up choosing that date thinking Connor would tell her some romantic reason but no... it is because Kobe Bryant's basketball number is 6 and Lebron James's number is 24. Throughout their relationship, Connor and Jordyn have enjoyed traveling together. They have been to Colorado, up to Michigan to the lake house, Indianapolis, and Chicago. They also have been to A LOT of concerts together. One of their favorite memories as a couple is adopting their dog Remington together.

Connor proposed to Jordyn at the Quarry in Whitehouse, Ohio during their annual pictures. Connor personally reached out to their photographer letting her know his plan. Connor then reached out to all their immediate family and close friends to ask them to help set up a surprise engagement party after the proposal. Connor told Jordyn that after the pictures he invited a few people over for the Ohio State game later that night. Jordyn did have a hunch that the proposal might be happening because what guy wants to get their pictures taken let alone set up the photo shoot itself. The morning of the proposal, Jordyn was very frustrated with Connor because she was in a panic trying to get the house cleaned up for the OSU party. While cleaning, Jordyn ended up chipping her nail. Jordyn started freaking out because she wasn't sure if her nail tech could get her in to fix it before the pictures and on top of that it began to rain. It got to the point that she told Connor that she wanted to reschedule the pictures for another day. Connor told Jordyn that wasn't possible because the photographer agreed on this date rain or shine and to just call the nail salon. Jordyn called the nail salon and her nail tech said she could fix the nail and to come in whenever. While Jordyn was on the phone with the nail salon Connor told Jordyn he had to run to the store to grab some things for the party. What Jordyn did not know is that Connor was dropping the engagement ring off to Jordyn's mom at the nail salon. Jordyn's mom later told Jordyn she was so nervous that Jordyn was going to see Connor dropping off the ring or even worse see the box in her purse. Once the nail was fixed and everyone was ready Jordyn and Connor headed to Whitehouse. Jordyn was watching Connor closely while he was driving and kept looking for a ring box but had no luck finding anything. The photographer decided to begin the session with photos of just the couple. About 15 minutes into the photo shoot Connor said that my mom just got there with the dogs. The photographer decided to put Jordyn and Connor on a boulder in front of the quarry and had Jordyn turn around. Connor then started yelling for Blue who then ran up to him. When Jordyn turned around she saw a bandana wrapped around Blue's neck that said "I loved her first" and Connor getting down on his knee to grab something off of Blue's collar. Jordyn was overwhelmed with emotion that originally she started saying no repeatedly because she didn't want to cry. Connor then proposed to Jordyn. Afterwards, their other dog Remi ran to them with a bandana on that said "My humans are getting married!"
