Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We want everyone to be comfortable especially since our wedding is outdoors in September which means it could be hot, cold or somewhere in between! For the ladies, feel free to wear a dress/skirt or nice pants/jeans combined with a blouse or nice shirt! For the men, feel free to wear nice jeans or khaki/cargo shorts/pants with a polo, button up/down shirt +/- a tie, or other nice shirt! No formal attire like suits, bow ties, tuxes or dress pants/dress shoes are necessary! Note: We kindly ask to stay away from T-shirts, worn down tennis shoes, and holy jeans. ☺️

Question

I know the wedding is at Duck Lake, but how do I get to the exact location?

Answer

For those that have GPS, you can type in "Duck Lake State Park" (it will pop up with the address of North Scenic Drive, Whitehall, MI) and it should take you directly to the park in which there will then be more signs. We have not run into issues with GPS leading us astray but just in case: Here are more specifics! If you are coming from Grand Rapids area, 1. Get on I-96 towards Muskegon 2. Then take exit for US-31 toward Muskegon/Ludington 3. Then take exit 121 towards Russell Rd 4. Turn left onto Russell Rd (there may not be a street sign but to help you identify it, there is a "park and ride" directly across the street in front of you) 5. Turn right on W Barb Rd (street sign does not include the "W" but this is still correct) 6. Turn right onto Whitehall Rd (again, there may not be a street sign but to help you identify, there is a house/property with a white picket fence across the street in front of you) 7. Turn left onto Duck Lake Rd (Dog Star Ranch will be on your right hand side as you make this left turn) 8. Turn right onto N Scenic Dr. 9. Turn right when you see the Duck Lake State Park sign Follow the signs to reach the WEDDING DESTINATION!! <3
