Likes: Family, gardening, and roadtrips Dislikes: Drama, winter, and seafood Some of Annette’s favorite qualities about Jordin are: She is the most caring person who wants everyone around her to be happy and have fun. She is the best party planner ever! She is very crafty and artistic. She is an amazing baker and chef. One of Annette’s favorite memories with Jordin is when they took a trip to Europe together. She enjoyed experiencing Jordin’s passion and love for traveling through her eyes. She loved spending many days laughing together.
Rod Gilbert
Father of the Groom
One of Spencer's favorite memories with his dad: Spencer always loves visiting Lake Powell with his dad. Each year the Gilbert family tries to make it down to Lake Powell at least once. Every time they go is a blast. Captain Rod usually mans the helm of the boat as they do wave surfing, wakeboarding, and tubing. Even when the boat is just parked out beside the house, there's a good chance he is out working on his boat or just sitting inside imagining the thrills of the next adventure.
Melonie Gilbert

Likes: Being outside when it’s warm weather, good Mexican food, and having my children/grandchildren around me. Dislikes: People who merge onto the freeway going too slow, going outside when it’s cold, and driving through Salt Lake City. Some of Melonie’s favorite qualities about Spencer: He has determination, a level head, patience, thoughtful, and he’s smart. One of Melonie’s favorite memories of Spencer: When landon was little his favorite movie was the Lego movie. In this movie the son is looking for his dad. Spencer recorded the voice of the dad on his phone and hid it in Landon’s air vent in his bedroom. When Landon went to his room Spencer called his phone which played this recording. Landon was found with his ear to the floor calling for “dad, dad”. Just like was done in the movie.
Camille Phillips

Likes: Crafting, reading, and going to Hawaii Dislikes: Waiting for packages, time going by too fast, and lipgloss on a windy day Camille and Jordin became fast friends during their beauty school days. They have been supporting each other in every aspect of life for the last 10 years. One of Jordin’s favorite memories with Cam is a Las Vegas trip they took together. You know what they say, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!”
Taylor Rogers

Likes: Traveling, watching sports, and being outside in the sunshine Dislikes: Slow drivers, winter, and eggs Taylor and Jordin met through Jordin’s former salon and mutual friends. They quickly formed a friendship by bonding over a love for traveling and adventure. One of Jordin’s favorite memories with Taylor is singing their hearts out side by side at a Post Malone concert.
Maddison Rogers

Likes: Riding horses, making jewelry, summertime, and sleeping Dislikes: Slow drivers, sushi, being cold, and people who don’t know how to work the Chick-Fil-A drive thru Maddi and Jordin met when they were previously working in the same salon. Their identical sense of humor bonded them together quickly as they bantered back and forth throughout the work days. One of Jordin’s favorite memories with Maddi would be one where they were at a work photoshoot and left giggling, excited, and with a little adventure in their back pockets.
Brooklyn Ward

Likes: Dr. Pepper, camping, and horses Dislikes: Horror movies, sleeping in the dark, and dirty feet Brooklyn and Jordin met while previously working at the same salon and through mutual friends. They gravitated towards each other for advice and to set goals together as they ran their businesses similar. That rapidly turned into a beautiful friendship. Brooklyn is also Jordin’s hairstylist and keeps her hair looking fabulous for all occasions. One of Jordin’s favorite memories with Brooklyn is a trip they took to Las Vegas together for their first international beauty convention.
Hadley Rogers

Likes: Dark purple, symphony bars with peanut butter, and being tan Dislikes: Sharks, snakes, mushrooms, and winter Hadley and Jordin met at Jordin’s former salon and through sharing mutual friends. They enjoy getting together for girls nights and catching up. One of Jordin’s favorite memories with Hadley is Halloween crafting with her in her beautiful home. Jordin has also loved watching Hadley become a new mom to her sweet babe, Reese.
Marin Clark

Likes: Plants, beaches, and a full night of sleep Dislikes: Pizza Parties, chocolate, and driving in the snow Marin is Spencer’s oldest sister. Marin and her husband, Doug, were so thoughtful and took Spencer and Jordin out on a fine dining experience where they met Jordin for the first time. They are all kindred foodie and travel spirits and connected well. One of Jordin’s favorite memories with Marin is going over to her lovely home and admiring her beautiful landscaping she recently designed. Jordin also admires Marin being a mom to her littles, Elowen and Rowan, and seeing the memories she and Doug are creating as a family.
Sadie Smith

Likes: Pilates, swimming, and walking around Costco Dislikes: Meal planning, left turns, and violent/scary movies Sadie is Spencer’s middle sister. Sadie and Jordin met for the first time on a double date with her husband, Gabe. They connected by sharing interests of the latest tv shows, pop culture, and chimed in on the guys conversations about sports. One of Jordin’s favorite memories with Sadie is going over to her darling home she has decorated beautifully to eat yummy food and play games. Not only has she made her house a home, she has an amazing island on Animal Crossing that Jordin can only aspire to come close to one day! Jordin has also loved watching the journey of Sadie becoming a new mom to baby Cal.
Nicole Cherry

Likes: Chocolate, naps, and teaching Dislikes: Spiders, being cold, and changing diapers Nicole is Spencer’s youngest sister. Nicole and Jordin first met on a double dinner date with her husband, Hunter, and their daughter Charlotte. Jordin knew they would be fast friends when it was Nicole’s birthday and she chose the most delicious chocolate candy bar cake to eat. She has impeccable taste! One of Jordin’s favorite memories with Nicole is staying up for a late night game of Risk. Jordin was sure glad Nicole was there to show her the ropes and help keep her troops alive! Jordin enjoys watching Nicole and Hunter as parents to their little Charlotte and baby Will.
Curt Gilbert

Likes: Good food, hot tubs, and Neil Diamond Dislikes: Folding Laundry, “Action Required” emails, and third lap blue shells in Mario Kart Curt is one of Spencer's cousins. They became lifelong friends from a young age when they bonded over playing Pokemon on their Gameboys together. Since then, Curt and Spencer have spent many years together as roommates.

Likes: Warm weather, sleeping, and playing games Dislikes: Being cold, waking up early, and paperwork Landon is Spencer's only brother. Although there is a 7-8 year age difference between them, Landon and Spencer enjoy doing many activities together such as playing Super Smash Bros. and going to get gelato.
Hudson Bosworth

Likes: Fishing, music, and camping Dislikes: Apple cider vinegar, bees, cotton candy Hudson is Jordin's brother. Spencer met Hudson for the first time when they went to the Bull Wars in Ogden on New Years Eve. Spencer has enjoyed going and listening to several of Hudson's band concerts as he plays a variety of instruments.

Likes: Lake Powell, The Office, quality with loved ones/friends Dislikes: Waking up for accounting, social media, and driving (or others driving-I.e. getting cut off) Tyler is one of Spencer's oldest friends. They met shortly after Spencer's family moved to Highland when he was 10 years old. Tyler and Spencer have spent many fun days out on the golf course together and afterwards would grab some Little Caesar’s pizza to watch Parks and Rec.

Spencer learned that Hunter loves to talk sports, economics, and conspiracy theories. Hunter has a hilarious sense of humor that always gets people laughing.
Gabe Smith

Likes: Baby Cal, yard work, and bbq ribs Dislikes: Terminal B at SLC airport, going to bed on time, and and poorly built phone applications Gabe is the husband of Spencer's sister, Sadie. The first thing Spencer learned about Gabe is that he enjoyed playing Super Smash Bros and thought Donkey Kong 64 was funny. He knew right then that he would fit in with the family.
Doug Clark

Liked: Expensive chocolate, mammals, and a good tree Dislikes: Country Music, spiders, and deforestation Doug is the husband of Spencer's sister, Marin. The first time Spencer met Doug, Spencer, Marin, and Doug got into a wizards duel fight with sparklers. Since then, Spencer has loved going out on fine dining experiences with Doug and learning to enjoy the finer things in life.
Brandon Robison

Likes: Sky diving, snowboarding on a fresh powder day, and Dr. Pepper Zero Sugar when I wake up in the morning Dislikes: Android phones, running, and seafood Brandon and Spencer met while Spencer was attending BYU in Provo. After only knowing each other for a few months, they decided to build a card game company together. While that company is no longer around, Brandon and Spencer have remained good friends.
Alex Christopherson

Likes: Taylor Swift, plants/flowers, and yummy restaurants Dislikes: Mushy textures, traffic, and bugs Alex and Spencer met when they became mission companions in Sacramento, CA. After both going to BYU after their missions, they became roommates for years in college. Alex always enjoyed destroying Spencer and company in the card game Dominion.
Derek Espiritu

Likes: Brownies and ice cream, cheering on the local sports team, and when something unexpectedly works Dislikes: Horse radish, sweaty shirts, and bad drivers Derek and Spencer met on their missions in Sacramento, CA. While the two were never companions, their friendship was sealed when at a zone conference meeting Derek asked Spencer to be roommates with him at BYU. For years afterwards they enjoyed playing basketball together on their tiny hoop that hung from the apartment door, in a video game, or occasionally playing real basketball together.
