It was love at first swipe! Shortly after matching on an online dating app, Spencer sent the first message to Jordin. He quickly grabbed her attention by discovering their mutual love for weenie-dogs.

Spencer asked Jordin out on a lunch date to meet in person after exchanging messages for a few weeks. Spencer was living in Taylorsville and Jordin was living in North Ogden, so they decided to meet in the middle. Santorini’s Greek Grill was the perfect spot to bond over Gyros and lively conversations. Little did Spencer know, Jordin’s favorite food is Greek food. He scored another win in her book and left her hoping to meet up again soon.

Spencer and Jordin accomplished a lot during their first year together. Spencer graduated from the University of Utah with his Doctorate of Pharmacy and landed a fellowship position within the University of Utah. Jordin celebrated 10 years in cosmetology, attended her first international hair convention and relocated salons. Alongside their accomplishments, Spencer and Jordin took a trip to Yosemite National Park, Sacramento and Lake Tahoe with friends and family. They rocked out to a couple of concerts, enjoyed going to the movies, played endless games, took lots of walks with the pup, started a book club, explored new food spots, and fell in love.

Spencer took Jordin up American Fork Canyon under the guise of taking professional photos for his cousin, Curt. Unknowingly to Jordin, Spencer had previously scouted out a hidden meadow as the perfect place to propose to her. Jordin was surprised, but thrilled. Spencer got on one knee and asked Jordin if she would marry him. With the biggest smile on her face she said YES!
