We're Getting Married!

Jordein and Nia first crossed paths in the most them way possible—lightly arguing on a mutual friends Facebook post about snowboarding. What followed were months of ridiculous conversations, relentless teasing, and playful bullying that slowly turned into a solid friendship. One of the first times Jordein and Nia met in person, Jordein—without telling Nia—took a 2.5-hour bus ride just to be there for her while she was in the hospital. That selfless gesture kickstarted something truly special. Over the years, their friendship blossomed through countless adventures and unforgettable moments. Then one day, after years of being besties, Jordein asked Nia out on their first official date—and just a few weeks later, asked her to be his girlfriend. In the four years since, they’ve weathered challenges, celebrated victories, and built a life together. They moved in together with their three cats—Dottie, Zyn, and Miloh—and eventually added their fur baby, Asa-Feta, to complete their chaotic home. They went on countless adventures that they both say they truly wouldn't trade for the world and then, after 3 years and 3 months together—Jordein got down on one knee, and she (of course!) said yes.
