Answer
There are the "why wait?" and "why rush?" schools of thought; we've just always been in the latter. Though it has always been on our minds; our first discussion of marriage was in January 2020.

Maya will be taking the Lopez surname. We will be Jordan Joaquin Lopez and Maya Lin Lopez.

What should I wear?
Answer
The dress code is formal. Suits and evening dresses requested. The afternoon ceremony will be on an outdoor lawn with an indoor reception. Temperatures fluctuate wildly in Texas, highs around this time could be in the 40s or high 70s, so we can only recommend to check weather forecasts as the date approaches. We have a backup indoor location for the ceremony if weather is entirely prohibitive.
