The perfect stop for brochures, maps, and other resource materials. This is one place you can buy tickets to tour the antebellum homes in Natchez, Ms. or you can buy them at the homes usually located in the homes gift shops.

Downtown Karla Brown does some of the best tours of Natchez, Ms and the surrounding area. There is a lot of history in the small town of Natchez. I think everyone could find something that they think is super interesting touring around. She offers several different options for tours as well as shuttle serves to airports in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Longwood is one of our favorite homes in Natchez. It is available for tour and you definitely should tour it even if you only have time to tour one home. It would have been the most grand home in Natchez if it would have ever been finished. The only floor on the home to be completed before the Civil War was the basement. It is unlike anything you have ever seen. Tickets are for purchase at the gift shop located on the property or at the visitor center.

Another antebellum home located in downtown Natchez with one of the most complete original furniture. Stanton Hall is able to be toured and is definitely a must see. They also have a wonderful restaurant called the carriage house, as well as a gift shop and a silver shop.

Fort Rosalie National Historic Park

A beautiful historic antebellum home in downtown Natchez. It is now owned and maintained by the Daughters of the Revolution. They offer tours of the property. You can purchase tickets for the tour at the home or at the visitors center.

Monmouth has a wonderful restaurant inside the home for dinner. Their gardens are absolutely wonderful and the home is very unique. You can tour this home as well.

This is one of the cutest shops in the area. It is located, right across the Mississippi River bridge, in Vidalia, Louisiana. They are a clothing boutique but they carry a few home decor items as well. This is a great place to check out.

Darbys is one of the best stores in downtown Natchez. It actual is in a total of five buildings. They have all kinds of different interesting things, including some of the best home made fudge is several different flavors. Make sure you stop by to check out Darbys while you tour around downtown Natchez, and definitely say hello to Mary Francis. Mary Francis is the owners black lab that stays behind the counter. She is sure to put a smile on your face.
