Jordan and Andrea were introduced by her brother, Eric, on Father's Day in 2017. Their first date was the very next day on Monday, June 19th. The couple met at the Skylark Bar in Midtown Manhattan and observed a beautiful rainbow over the Empire State Building. Over the course of the next two weeks (before Andrea flew off to hike Kilimanjaro), they got to know each other on three amazing and jam-packed NYC-style dates. Once Andrea got home, the rest was history... they were connected at the hip. Whether it was exploring the caverns of NYC or traveling to lands near and far (like Long Island, Chicago, Tucson and Ireland), Jordan and Andrea passionately shared their love for family, food and spontaneous adventure. They have always made each other better: Jordan is now an avid hiker and Andrea is now an (occasional) home chef. Jordan originally planned to propose during Passover 2020 in NY, surrounded by friends and family, but COVID threw a wrench into that plan. Jordan and Andrea fled to Tucson with everything they could carry, leaving behind their furnished Upper West Side home. Two weeks into their trip, when Jordan realized the world would be different for the foreseeable future, he called an audible and orchestrated a beautiful mountaintop proposal on March 29, 2020. Despite all of their incredible adventures to date, no moment will equal the magic of their wedding day together in the Catalina Foothills in October.
Nervous while hiking to the top of Brown Mountain during their engagement hike, Jordan brought up the idea of traveling and being digital nomads (if only they didn't have their NYC apartment!) Once Andrea's logistical planning powers kicked in, they were able to move out virtually and begin planning an 2-year adventure of a lifetime! After purchasing a brand new car, Shira the Subaru, Andrea and Jordan set out on a mini trial trip to Southern California to visit brother Eric. After learning the ropes, Andrea and Jordan set out to conquer the Mountain Time Zone, only to eventually return to Arizona before heading out to the East Coast. So far on their journey, Jordan and Andrea put over 22,000 miles on their new car, hitting 25 different National Parks across 30 US States.
