Alexandra Almonte

Maid of Honor

Alex was my very first friend. From playing fort in our family's first apartment to fighting over each other's clothes to now calling each other across states, we're pretty inseparable. I'm grateful to rely on her for an honest opinion but also a shoulder to lean on. She's always had a strong and somewhat intimidating presence but when Xavier came into the picture, she welcomed him with open arms and ruthless jokes. We've talked about this day since we were kids so I'm really excited to have my best friend from the womb be my Maid of Honor!

Nicole Cohen

Matron of Honor

Nicole and I met through mutual friends and immediately clicked at RPI with our love-hate relationship with school. Throughout college, I was lucky enough to live with her and have some of the best memories studying in the library together. She's someone I've always looked up to as someone who works hard but has an extremely calm presence. Xavier and I are both grateful, that even in adulthood, we're all able to stay so close across coasts with Halloween trips and visits out west! And whenever we do meet up, it's like no time has past and we're still just as close as in college. I'm over the moon to have my best friend from college as my Matron of Honor!

Mariah Nelson

Bridesmaid

Mariah was one of my and Xavier's first friends at RPI! We all did a "roughing-it" type pre-orientation camping trip. I wouldn't have changed a thing knowing I met two very important people in my life. I'm grateful to have met a couple close friends (my now bridesmaids) through Mar. I can count on Mar to give me a phone call about some awful romantic movie whenever I need a pick-me-up and a classic "Everything's fine. It's fine" through school, adult-life, and now planning a wedding. I'm ecstatic to have Mariah as my bridesmaid!

Megan Twiss

Bridesmaid

Megan and I met our junior year at RPI! I'm eternally grateful to have met someone amazing and kind in the same major as me (and someone to compare notes with). We had the fortunate opportunity of living together senior year and my best memories that year were from Megan in a shark onesie. She's always been able to lighten a situation with humor and bring fun to our house. Xavier, Megan, and I ended up in Seattle for a bit and I was so grateful to have her comforting, light presence around in a new city. I'm beyond grateful to have stayed so close throughout the years and am thrilled to have Megan as my bridesmaid!

Ereena Akirtava

Bridesmaid

Ereena and I met my sophomore year of college, when I found her sleeping on our apartment couch. Since then, we became pretty great friends. Ereena is always open to a wild adventure that always ends up in a good story. I can name dozens from living with her for only two years. I look to her as an example of being adventurous but also kind. Xavier and I are so grateful to have her as such a close friend to go on crazy adventures with, watch Twilight with, and play music with. I'm so happy that we've been able to be so close over the past few years, even with the distance, and I'm excited to have Ereena as my bridesmaid!

Vinay Kshirsagar

Best Man

Vinay and I lived a few doors apart at NCSSM, and became great friends. We played on the soccer team together and bonded through misadventures around the hall. More recently, when we lived in Mountain View, we would play open mics together, jam after work, and grab late night Zareen’s. I was excited to introduce Vinay to Jordan when he visited in 2019 and we’ve since taken on numerous exploits together in California. For example, one time we took Vinay surfing and he fell asleep for over 12 hours afterwards. While we’ve lived near to each other at times and far apart at other times, I’m so happy that we’ve been close throughout and that he is now my best man.

Brandon Herrada

Groomsman

Brandon and I met the first week of college at RPI; I’m pretty sure we were wearing name tags. We then made lots of memories taking CS classes and hanging out around Troy- I couldn’t imagine my time at RPI without him. He’s someone that I can really count on for fun times and also to have my back. Now that we’re both in the Bay Area, it’s great having a buddy to shred Tahoe with and explore San Francisco. Brandon has known Jordan and I for as long as we have known each other so it’s really special that he’s now a groomsman.

Sai Macha

Groomsman

Sai and I met in our junior year of high school, where we lived on the same floor and played soccer together for the school and a local club team. Sai’s out of the box thinking and honest takes have challenged my perspective. For example, in 2021 he met Jordan when we took a road trip to Olympic National Park, and he planned that trip by reading a travel blog. I thought that was pretty neat and have since read travel blogs when planning vacations. Also, if I had listened to him about Gamestop stock, I’d already be retired. These days I appreciate how Sai and I make it a point to play soccer & hang out whenever I’m in NYC. I’m excited that he’s a groomsman!

Ethan Rose

Groomsman

Jordan and I met Ethan in our freshman year economics class. That could have been foreshadowing, because Ethan is the most analytical guy I know- just ask him about his “Favorite Albums” spreadsheet. After RPI, we lived together for 2 years in Mountain View where we enjoyed cooking in a kitchen “seasoned with love”, chatting about music, going to concerts, and skiing. During that time I was inspired by his connection to music and fitness as well as his willingness to take you to the end of the earth on an opinion. So excited to have Ethan as my groomsman!

Clarisse Baes

Groomswoman

Clarisse and I became friends while taking circuits at RPI. Clarisse is someone I look up to on how to live boldly and be steadfast against adversity- somehow she has the best and worst luck possible. A core memory is when our group stayed up until 3am trying to solve a circuits problem and had absolutely nothing to show for it besides a sad selfie denoting our failure. Luckily in Seattle we had more positive experiences of surfing, snowboarding, and cooking hot dogs on the beach. Jordan and I are grateful to have Clarisse as a friend and member of our wedding party.

Nathan Thivierge

Ring Bearer

Alexandre (my cousin and Nathan's father) was the ring bearer at my parents' wedding. It has come full circle now with Nathan as the ring bearer for our wedding!

Olivia Kurzner

Flower Girl

Olivia is my niece and Marie-Helene's (my sister's) daughter! We're so excited to have the most smiley baby as our flower girl.

Sophie Deyro

Flower Girl

Having Sophie as our flower girl is very full circle as her mother (my cousin, Maryann) was my parents' flower girl at their wedding. We're excited to have her walk down the aisle on our big day!
