Things To Do

Wildlife Boat Tours on the Spring

These 45-55 minute pontoon cruises are lead 1 mile down the Wakulla River by the park rangers. Along the ride, the ranger will tell you about the local wildlife that can be found, the history of the park, and, of course, about the world's largest freshwater spring. Every tour is slightly different, and that's what we love about it. Whether you get the singing ranger or spot a manatee, you're sure to have a good time.

St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center

1255 Lighthouse Road, Saint Marks, FL 32355

If you want to get a little glimpse of the gulf, head over to St. Mark's Wildlife Refuge. We particularly enjoy visiting the lighthouse and walking along the beach. This refuge is home to many interesting animals. Between the largest flock of monarch butterflies we've ever seen, dolphins playing with each other, and even pink flamingoes, there's always something interesting to see here.
