Our ceremony will be outside by the gazebo. There are sidewalks around the area of the gazebo, but getting to seats will involve walking in grass. The reception will be held inside of the terrace.
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. This means knee-length/midi dresses or well-tailored jumpsuits for our female presenting guests. Fabrics that are typical for a cocktail dress code include silk, satin, or chiffon; however, these are not required. For our masculine presenting guests, well-tailored suits and blazers with dress pants are generally expected. Ties are not required but do tend to elevate the look.
While we do have a color scheme for our wedding that the bridal party will be dressed in, guests are not required to follow it. If you would like to follow the color scheme, it consists of dark greens, copper, tans, browns, mustard yellows, and dark terracotta (generally earthy tones). Please feel welcome to follow the color scheme, but please wear whatever wedding guest attire makes the most sense for you.
Due to trying to keep our wedding as small and intimate as possible, plus ones will not be awarded at this wedding. Our goal is to make sure that spouses and long-term significant others are included on invitations to eliminate the need for plus ones. We want people at the wedding that we know and that know us, so only the names addressed on your invitation are invited.
No. This is a strictly child free wedding. Persons must be 16-years-old or older and included in the invitation address to attend. There are lots of reasons for this decision, and we please ask that you respect it.
Yes, there is parking at the lodge. While we are using the lodge for the event, Wakulla Springs is a state park that is open to the public, so parking could potentially become limited. Give yourself plenty of time to find parking.
When you arrive at the park, there will be a toll stand with rangers. All you'll have to do is let them know that you're in town for the wedding, and they should let you right through.
The short answer is: possibly. Our room block gives our guests preferential treatment when it comes to booking. After 10/20/2026, we cannot guarantee the availability of any rooms for guests as the lodge will release the extra rooms to be purchased by the public. If rooms are still available at the lodge, you can still book them, but those reservations will not be associated with our event.
